Mbarara City have officially confirmed the signing of two players from former FUFA Big League side Light SSS Football Club.
The two are offensive midfielder Ronald Edwok and winger Godfrey Kalungi who have both signed contracts of three years with the Mbarara outfit.
While Edwok operates primarily as an attacking midfielder, Kalungi is touted as an ideal replacement for the already departed Ibrahim Orit.
The Ankole Lions have also confirmed the return of midfielder Samali Farouk who spent last season on loan at Kigezi Homeboyz FC.
The development comes two days after the club announced the departure of defender Bashir Muweesi and midfielder Stephen Kabuye.
Mbarara City have so far renewed contracts of six players, that is Muhammed Ssekeba, Stephen Othieno, Souleymane Bamba, Jude Semugabi, Pistis Balenge and Segujja Bebe Swalik.
