People who work at night at round about Mbarara commonly known as (Amahembe Gente)–Masaka road survived death around midnight, after a heavy loaded fuso track vehicle REG NO. UAM 265C lost control as its brakes broke down as it was sloping to Ahamahembe, which forced the driver to dwell into parked Boda boda.
According to the Fuso truck driver who did not reveal his names, he failed to negotiate the roundabout corner ended up smashing three boda boda cycles, that were on park yards.
According to eye witness, the boda boda cyclists run and left their boda bodas in the park yard, which were smashed away beyond repair.
Among the three boda boda cycles that were smashed include, UDV 520C, UEK 251M and the yet to be known bodaboda which lost its number plates.
OC traffic Mbarara, ASP Doreen Namanya confirms the accident saying they have the drive already in their custody as the investigations into the matter going on.
