Mbarara. Nyamityobora Footbal Club President Eng. Ben Missaga Tuesday evening unveiled a new coach Asaph Mwebaze after the resignation of James Odok former coach.
Coach Mwebaze was introduced alongside other three new players from Cameroon to the Nyamityobora FC fans at their home play ground in Nyamityobora Kijungu Mbarara. Among the players that were unveiled include Bove Bi Marc Olivier (Striker) from one of the clubs in Ivory Coast, Ngomba Mpacko Gustave (midfielder) from Cameroon played in Burundi and Mvondo Mvondo Gian Rene Pascal (midfielder) from Cameroon played in Burundi.
These players have been signed following the suspension of five players from the club over indiscipline and these include goalkeeper Hilary Jomi, strikers; John Wesley Kisakye, Patrick Gonahasa, hard tackling midfielder Ivan Mbowa and dread-locked midfielder Ibrahim Massa.
Nyamityobora FC since their debut in Star times Uganda Premier League has faced bad times where it has lost 8 games under coach Odok. On the table, Nyamityobora FC is second last ahead of Black Angels with 4 points only in the league topped by KCCA FC with 21 points from 9 games.
Nyamityobora FC has been playing at Wankulukuku as its home but currently the team has been accepted by FUFA to access the home base grounds of Kakyeka where it will play the remaining home matches.
Coach Mwebaze confirmed to the fan that it will be his first task to save the team from relegations. He also promised that his first two matches against Toro FC and Maroons FC are a must win
