MP Tusiime proposes 10 years term extension

As the Term limit extension to seven years bill is still a controversial in the Parliament, the Mbarara municipality legislator Michael Tusiime has personally proposed that term limits should be extended to ten years instead of seven.
MP Tusiime stated these while speaking to our reporter Thursday at Kamukuzi when he was asked to reveal his take in this the ongoing motion in the parliament. Tusiime clearly said that even seven years in parliament are little for a leader to sustain his duties. Therefore he prayed that the legislators who had brought the motion would have much focused on Ten years term limit to enhance legislators fulfill their promises to the electorates.
Apparently of some Legislators have opposed the extension of Term Limit extension complaining that it is selfishness and greedy among the legislators which shows that some of them have not reached their satisfaction destiny.
But some legislators who have engaged in backing the tabled motion have got no hopes for turning back to parliament as they are being harassed by their electorates for having betrayed and disappointed them by supporting the Age Limit Bill which is cause.
And some other legislators have realized that they have got no accountability to their constituents for what they have done to their electorates as well. And on the other side, some Legislators have panicked off after discovering that they have got some hard competitors aside who may come 2021 to stand against their positions like we have already discovered it Mbarara Municipality as Hon. Mweine Mpaka has shown interest to stand against Tusiime in 2021.
Analytically this may be a basis to why Tusiime prays that perhaps Term Limits should be extended to Ten years instead of Seven years. Mweine Mpaka who is the Western Youth MP has recently confirmed to Mbarara people that he will stand as a Parliamentarian for Mbarara municipality 2021. He uttered these while launching Mbarara Bodaboda Investment Association at Kamukuzi few weeks ago.
