More than 500 Students to benefit from BungaBet Sponsorship

One of Uganda’s best online betting companies BungaBet has through it’s charity programs extended education support to a total of 170 students in past three years.

After the company’s annual end of year workshop, the BungaBet CEO Prosper Tuhaise revealed, they are targeting to sponsor a total of 500 students in the next coming five years.

We help the needy and vulnerable children to access education as away of giving back to the community. We currently have a total of 170 students but we target 500 in the coming years”, said Atuhaise.

The company pays school fees to these students in three different schools. The partner schools include St. Charles SS (Kashanda), St. Mark Rubingo, and St. Emmanuel (Bikiro) with 20, 50 and 100 students respectively.

BungaBet also extended a hand in the renovation of St Mark and St. Emmanuel by providing roofing material which included the iron sheet for the whole structure and St. Ritah Primary School in Kawaala.

We were part of the renovation campaigns of St. Emmanuel, St. Mark (both Secondary Schools) in Mbarara and Ritah Primary school buildings in Kawaala”. He added.

The company has also given a big hand to the healthy sector by donating Mattresses to hospital wards and equipment worth 300 Millions to Nshwere Healthy Center II in Rwakitura, Kiruhura district, Bukiro Healthy Center III in Kashari County in Mbarara.

Richards Happy a motor rally driver and kickboxer Ausi Mbaata are also sponsored by BungaBet for the last three years.

Tourism State Minister Godfrey Kiwanda Ssubi

Last year’s annual workshop was held on 17th December 2019 at Uganda Wild Life Hotel in Entebbe. State Minister for Tourism and Antiquities Godfrey Ssuubi Kiwanda was the guest of honor.

Kiwanda hailed BungaBet for her philanthropic heart to needy and employing as many youths in the country.
