More one COVID-19 case confirmed in Uganda total to 45

Uganda has confirmed one more case of COVID-19 bringing the total to 45.  Out of 302 samples run today at Uganda Virus Research Institute, 301 samples tested negative for COVID-19 while one (1) tested positive.

 In a tweet, Ministry of Health has announced this new development

COVID-19 is affecting 203 countries and territories around the world and 2 international conveyances: the Diamond Princess Cruise ship harbored in Yokohama, Japan, and the Holland America’s MS Zaandam cruise ship.

Worldwide, number of confirmed Corona viruses stand at 1,002,071, with 51,434 reported death, recovered cases at 210,451.

Globally, the USA still leads in the number of infections at 235,860, followed by Italy at 115,242 and Spain at 110,238. Germany takes position for at 84,415 while China has 81,589. There are some scholars who argue that China is reporting fewer cases.
