Police in Mbarara are holding a 20 year old man for allegedly stubbing to death a manager of Byafirigo bar and lodges in Kijungu – Mbarara suburb over a debt of 2,000 shillings.
Anatori Kakuru a bar Manager of Ever Smart Lodges also in Kijungu stubbed to death Amon Ariyo 26 the manager of a nearby Byafirigo bar and lodges.
Samson Kasasira the Rwizi region police spokesperson says preliminary investigations indicated that the two developed misunderstandings following a debt of 2,000 shillings which resulted into the fight that caused Ariyo’s death. It is also reported the two have been close friends.
