Burundian refugee tests positive for coronavirus in Uganda, cases rise to 56

Uganda has confirmed one (1) more case of COVID-19 out of 1,177 samples run Monday at Uganda Virus Research Institute (UVRI) bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 56.

A 46-year-old Burundian is a refugee who entered Uganda through Tanzania and was detected from Mutukula border point.

Ministry of Health said via Twitter that the man quarantined in Rakai District about 222KM south of the capital Kampala.
