Basajja Mivule dumps NUP and Unveiled as NRM Supporter

Veteran Journalist, Basajja Mivule who has been so critical to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) has come out to openly denounce support for the National Unity Platform (NUP) political party leader, Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) and officially declared support to President Yoweri Museveni.

Basajja Mivule was recently arrested by security organs for sectarian utterances in which he accused the ruling government of only recruiting people of the same region in key positions in government.

While addressing the media at a press conference in Ntinda organized by Museveni’s fixer and events promoter, Balaam Barugahara, Basajja Mivule noted that he can’t continue supporting Bobi Wine who has proved to be a worst dictator and who can’t be criticized on anything.

“We must crash such a kingdom, we can’t sit down and see them create Bobi Wine as a worst dictator who leaves his supporters to abuse us without cautioning them. I have defended and fought for Bobi Wine for a long period without anything in return,” Basajja Mivule said.

He added that, “Anyone who has a different opinion or view on any given topic, they want to cut off your head, such a kingdom, we are going to carsh it. They want to install a king who is like the Alpha and Omega, who is like the Alshababs, you either follow their laws or you get killed.”

Basajja Mivule cautioned parents against supporting Bobi Wine, noting that there is all evidence that once he becomes the President, he will build a kingdom of gays as well as a kingdom of weed smokers.

“Mr. Museveni, I have joined you today but I won’t enter your NRM party. I know that you can help achieve my dream of working for my country; I want you to give me a vehicle and pick up double cabin so that I can go into the field and train Ugandans on how to make and accumulate wealth,” Basajja Mivule said.

He thus noted that the reason he is asking for the vehicles is because the People Power group has accused him of getting a vehicle from the President yet he hasn’t received any thing.

“The reason I am demanding and requesting for a car is because those bustards, the People Power group members said that I was given a car which I haven’t got, so now I am telling Mr. President to give it to me in the open,” Basajja Mivule said.
