Government has already secured 1.7 billion from World Bank to work on the 23 kilometer road that stretches from Kabererebere –Nyamuyanza –Ryaminyoga roads in Isingiro District with first class marram
This was revealed by Asaph Abeneitwe the Isingiro District engineer during the community stakeholders meeting heals at Nyamuyanza sub-county headquarters yesterday.
According to the engineer these funds will be channeled through the office of the Prime Minister under the DRDIP Project and this is done as the one way of giving back to the community which hosts Refugees.
Abeneitwe revealed that the budget will not cater for Kishuro budget and there will be no compensation to those who will be affected during the construction
Patrick Kajumba the LCIII chairperson Kaberebere one of the committee members on the road constructed revealed that as leaders they have hopes that that the money allocated to this project will produce quality work.

He noted that this road has been a great challenge hindering the transport means in the area.
Locals also revealed that the road was impassable during the rainy season
Committees were selected to look after the constriction project.
